What are moles and warts?
Moles are a form of skin growth that can appear anywhere on your body. They can appear as one mole, or as a group of several moles. They are usually brown or black in colour. They can be flat, raised, smooth or granular, and they are present on most people’s skin. Their placement is usually determined before birth.
Warts are a skin growth that is caused by a virus called the human papilloma virus. These viruses enter the skin and cause a wart to grow. They are usually the same colour as skin, and can be flat, 
raised or smooth. Most warts are harmless but some can be cancerous. As it is caused by a virus, warts are contagious to others who may be susceptible to the same virus. Therefore care needs to be taken when coming into contact with another person.
What is Ovarian cyst?
An ovarian cyst is when fluid gets collected within an ovary which has walls that are very thin. If there is a growth that is bigger than 2 centimeters this is known as an ovarian cyst. Sometimes it is as large as a cantaloupe or as tiny as a pea.
In the beginning an ovarian cyst does not cause any harm. If a woman is in her premenopausal stage, a cyst might be found in her ovary. A survey taken in the United States concludes that in postmenopausal women nearly 14.8 percent had an ovarian cyst. Therefore we can conclude that age does not play a part and a cyst of this nature can have its effect on any woman. In women who are pregnant a cyst can occur more frequently. Sometimes there is pain and bleeding as a result of a cyst. If a cyst is bigger than 5 centimeters, it can be removed through surgery.
What is Fibroids?
Fibroids grow in the womb of a woman in the shape of lumps. It’s not necessarily cancerous or harmful. Fibroids are common, but research has found few answers as to why women may get it. If a person has periods that are painful or heavy and there is discomfort felt in the pelvis area, it is best to consult with a doctor in case you may have fibroids. If fibroids are causing too much problems, some women opt for surgery. If you closing upon menopause, it is best to wait, it might get better within time. What is Eczema?
Eczema is an inflammation of the skin and is a form of dermatitis and is characterized by dry, red, scaly skin that often itches uncontrollably, and is mainly found of the flexor joints of the body such as the elbows, wrists, and knees. In severe cases the skin can be blistered, flake off, bleed or ooze with pus. Scarring does not often take place as a result of eczema but most sufferers do notice skin discolorations due to healed lesions.
There is no exact cause for eczema, although it is a genetic disease. However, it is thought that eczema occurs as a result of the body overreacting to an unknown trigger. Some people have their eczema flare up when it is too hot or too cold, others when they use a particular soap or detergent. Allergies and stress can cause eczema to become worse.
What are Cold Sores
This is seen as an infection around the lips, most often the upper lip in a small patch of little blisters. It can also appear on the face and mouth. It is caused by the Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Cold sores are also called fever blisters. The skin in the area around the blisters is red and sore. Usually the blisters break open and discharge a clear fluid. After a few days a scab will form and will take up to several days and may be a fortnight to heal. No medication is actually needed and it heals by itself. The two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2 can both cause the blisters to form, and can also cause genital herpes.
The virus usually enters through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It usually is spread from another person who is already infected by contact or use of eating utensils, razors etc. that come in contact when a person touches a cold sore or personal contact such as kissing. A child can get this from an infected parent in this manner. These cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body. Some people who may have the virus but don’t get cold sores show no symptoms at all.
What is Bacterial Vaginosis?
Simply speaking it is the change in the normal bacteria of the vagina. There are two types of bacteria in your vagina – the good bacteria which is called the Lactobacilli and another type called Anaerobes. Vaginosis is caused by the over balance or too much of Anaerobes.
When there’s an imbalance of naturally occurring bacterial flora, Bacterial Vaginosis is the most common cause of vaginal infection. This is a disease that can only occur in women. This is caused when an unhealthy amount of bacteria infects the thin layer of tissue which covers the surface of your vagina or membrane.
Bacterial Vaginosis can also be identified as a mild infection in the vagina which is caused by a germ.
