What foods cause eczema?
Eczema refers to a variety of skin diseases that are all a form of dermatitis, where skin inflammations occur. Those with the condition suffer from dry, itchy skin that often forms as a rash in some or all areas of the body, mainly the flexor joints such as the elbows, knees and wrists.
There is no definite cause for eczema as of yet. It is known that certain forms of eczema are hereditary. Most types of eczema occur because the immune system is thought to overreact to certain triggers. Some eczemas flare up when the weather is too hot or too cold, when a certain material of clothing is worn, when a certain soap or detergent is used, when other allergies such as asthma and hay fever are present, or even in stressful situations.
Male Yeast Infection
Fungi of the Candida species, usually Candida albicans, mainly cause yeast infections. Fungi are present in the human body anyway, but they are kept under control by good bacteria in the gut. When this does not happen, a yeast infection might occur. Some yeast infections can be superficial but can also worsen to life threatening degrees.
There are many causes of male yeast infection. Antibiotics that are prescribed for the flu, or something similar, work by killing off pathogens, but they may also kill of several of the good bacteria that your body needs. This can result in the ratio between good bacteria and yeast in the small intestine is imbalanced, so that fungi thrives, and then spread to other parts of the body. A weak immune system can cause yeast infections, as can sex with a female who has a yeast infection. Some other causes are alcohol, peanuts, and wheat and barley products, all of which are very common foods that are universally contaminated with moulds, which also kill bacteria that control the population of yeast in the gut.
Tinnitus Symptoms
Tinnitus is a condition where a person experiences the sensation of hearing sound within their ears when external sound is absent. Tinnitus is not a disease. It is a symptom that results from various causes such as foreign objects and wax in the ear or ear infections.
Tinnitus symptoms can consist of different types of noises such as whistling, hissing, ringing and clicking. The noises can also sound like whooshing or rushing. These phantom noises can be heard in either one ear or both ears. They can also differ in pitch from a high-pitched squeal to a very low roar. In certain individuals the sound is loud enough to affect hearing and concentration, usually causing dizziness, in a syndrome called Meniere’s disease. Continuous Tinnitus is likely to cause fatigue, irritability, and, on rare occasions, musical hallucinations clinical depression.
Tinnitus can be pulsing and constant. However, it can also be intermittent, worsen gradually or begin abruptly. Individuals experiencing tinnitus symptoms should be examined by a doctor, especially if it has begun suddenly and if the sounds are only heard by one ear or if one ear experienced hearing loss. Many individuals suffering from tinnitus experience a loss of hearing and cannot hear the external sounds that are in the same frequency as that of the “phantom sounds” they hear.
Treatments for Cold Sores
Cold sores are a condition caused by any of the two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2 and is usually associated with infections of the mouth, lips, and face, mostly developed by people in childhood. HSV-1 often causes the lesions to appear inside the mouth, such as cold sores or even infection of the eyes. They are also called fever blisters as a slight raise in body temperature is felt before it appears in very small blisters. These blisters break to discharge a clear liquid and after a day or so get crusted up and heal on its own within two weeks. They can cause embarrassment and pain.
If the cold sores cause too much pain there are ways to treat it. But what ever the treatment may be it will only take a day or two earlier to heal and will not be a permanent cure. You may never know when it will reappear the next time. The treatment includes ointments, skin creams and pills but these only ease up on the pain. Cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus cannot be cured according to most medical studies. It is there in you system for the rest of your life. Treatment can however reduce the number of and frequency of attacks even though it won’t be a permanent cure for cold sores.
What is a yeast infection?
A yeast infection is the common name given to a condition called candidiasis or thrush. It is a fungal infection caused by any of the Candida species of fungi. Candida albicans is the most common of these fungi.
Candida yeasts are normally found in the human body anyway, but their growth is limited by our immune system. Certain things can cause candida cells to overgrow. Pregnancy and the use of oral contraceptives can be risk factors. Thos suffering from diabetes or using antibiotics are also at risk.
Yeast infections can be superficial ones such as oral thrush and vaginitis but can also be systemic infections which are more problematic because they are not just on the outside of the body, and affect other important organs, which can be life threatening. Those who suffer from systemic infections are usually those who have a weakened immune system, such as cancer, HIV/AIDS or transplant patients. Most infections cause some discomfort such as itchiness and swelling, but can get worse if left untreated.
